People aren't banned from the forum lightly. When they are, they don't want to be heard from again - they're banned. So why give a reason..
The last person I banned copy pasted an advertisement as their first post. It had been pasted at 150 other forums/sites on the web. No reason needs to be given for that sort of crap.

Sincere apologies if you had an account that has been banned incorrectly.
As Mark said, anyone who posts automated advertisements is banned.
Further to that, our system checks the IP & email address of all those registering to see if they are used by known spammers and if so, blocks them.
Let me know if you think you have had an account banned incorrectly and I will do my best to reinstate it and add your IP to the whitelist.
