anyone have expereince with SEO? trying to learn more about SEO and this guy says long term SEO is a scam and can do it in a few hours ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4yMN13nckEA ) . any thoughts? it would be cool if this is true.

The guy is full-of-sh!t. All he is saying is to choose a less competitive keyword and you'll get to page 1 faster. 'Kitty litter' is a generic keyword, it will have 100 x's more competition than a more specific keyword than say 'online kitty litter sales'. Ergo the latter will be 100 x's faster/easier to get page 1 ranking for.
This is nothing ground breaking. In fact I wrote a whitepaper about the same subject nearly 5 years ago.
His whole spiel is a waste of oxygen if you were to ask one thing, 'forget the other keywords, I need my site to rank on page 1 for kitty litter'. THAT would probably take 3-6 months!

It is probably a scam. Anything that entails quick results is usually too good to be true.
