    So you are looking at solely at the system price itself, nothing else? Not even feature for feature?

    Is that really the way to make a buying decision?

    AKA: Mark, 'v2', or Metho
    I do Web Design, Brisbane - Gold Coast based.
    Spend a lot of time in PHP/MySQL Web Development.
    And Search Engine Optimisation chews up the rest.

    its strange that VendHQ doesnt offer stock control at its entry level price point. Wouldnt stock control be the primary reason for using a POS system?

    Reducing human error, speeding up transaction process, digitising transactions...

    Nothing worse than a paper system, very... old world!

    Thanks for the replies. Dont really want to get a system I have to pay a monthly fee for.

    I have been playing around with the myob one some more but its not very good!

    I am looking to upgrade my current POS software solution for the restaurant
    The current package we are using is very outdated Was wondering if anyone has recently upgraded or purchased similar software and/or could offer any recommendations.

    My requirement is simple All functions must be compatible with cash drawer, stock, nightly record of sales, sales history etc.
