I do, but I don't believe to it's full potential.

In my main business, I tend to send out an email newsletter once a month or so - and we try to send one out weekly for SBF.

My only concern with email marketing, is that so many people do it. I receive about 10 or so email newsletters a week - most of them not very interesting. The market just seems to be slightly cluttered.

There is one mistake that everybody tries to send more emails, but don't try to make that emails interesting and valuable. If it was so, than results would be better.

I voted no. I send occasional emails to all customers, but I wouldn't call them newsletters.

When a critical computer/network/website exploit is discovered that may affect my customers in any fashion, I'll email a tech bulletin in layman terms which helps them to protect themselves. If a must-have advertising/marketing opportunity crops up that's phenomenal value for money, I'll also point my customers in that direction too.

So basically I only send out bulk emails when there's something important or too good to pass up.

Promoting your newsletter is a good way to market your products properly. You can be able to use some article and newsletter directory sites. Aside from these sites, you can also use social media like Facebook and Twitter so that you will have more media to be used in your marketing. This is when your website will be able to attract traffic. You can keep all your previous newsletters to your website so that visitors will also have the chance to read your works and even get to know more of the products that you are holding.
