ATO make free visits for talks about GST inter alia.

I don't know if this is common knowledge, but the ATO will make a no-obligation free visit to your house or place of business to talk to you about all things taxation. I am not 100% sure if they run this nationally but I am in Brisbane QLD and it was offered to me as I wanted to understand as much as I could about the tax system. The man who came to visit me was absolutely brilliant and loved Monty Python! Well, he was fine in my book and he had excellent tax advice. I probably made his ears bleed with my many questions, but he was very patient.

Give the ATO Business line a call and see what they can do for you. I am so glad that I did it.
