I pretty much put everything in the title!

I'm a partner in a small boutique web design business. There are two and a half of us, university trained, Lynda.com trained and self-taught to the point that (we think) we're making some nice websites. The downside is that none of us are trained in running a business! That's been a steeper learning curve than most web development courses!

Looking forward to pilfering some tips in this forum.

I actually did a Cert IV in small business management at the Dept of Ed & Training to kick-start my knowledge. The rest comes from making lots of mistakes and learning from them.

I can relate to what you are saying. We are a small web design agency (just two of us) up here in Brisbane and had NO IDEA of all the intricacies of running a business. Thank goodness we both love learning as it's been a steep learning curve! But so enjoyable too! All the best with what you are doing - looking forward to hearing your updates as time goes on.
