I suppose like me you have been busy, but HEY I'm RETIRED. I'm not supposed to be busy, I'm supposed to be relaxed, unwound, lasy, boring, do we really have to go and see him...type. Yep I have been so busy doing nothing (I wish) that I am exausted.

We wished each other " Happy New year" a month ago and what has happened.....

Apart from having four grandkids every day for almost the six weeks of school holidays, I've totally set up a data base, organised a training course, persuaded some 50+ very busy people to give me five minutes of their time.
Entered my seventieth year and attended three long meetings. Altered a couple of websites, bought a new computer, cleaned up the old computer and have pursuaded 'shewhomustbe' to take a break this month.

Yep I have been busy doing nothing.

So have you been doing nothing, or does it just feel that way.

Why not let us know what you who arent retired have been up to ( should be interesting)

It's good to see your still out there shaking things up Burgo!!

And I (and most others!!) don't for one second think you are retired. Not ever will be for that matter, I think you will keep doing what you love up until the day you die!!

And also, did you just use the word "totally"? I think some of your grandkids lingo has kicked in a little

Hahahaha I wish, but I think what we have to do in retirement and throughout our working life and that is find a Balance and that is where it all seems to get lost.

What is Balance ?
Where do I buy it ?
How do I acieve it?

Strange but after so long in business achieving the right Balance is to me a Myth.
Besides what is the right Balance, is it the same for everyone, or do we have to plan like we did for our Business.
I know there has been discussion on this topic before, but I cant remember where I put it.
So how do you balance your life?
Is it important we do have Balance
or is it OK if I am totally confussed all the time
Now is that where it is ?
