The secret of selling.

Why are there so many books on this subject that really do not explain what selling is all about.

The secret of selling is all about YOU. How much do you like yourself, how comfortable you are with others, and weather you can put a sentence together.
The sentence often doesnt have to make much sense, as long as it stops the person your trying to sell to and gets them to think.
The think I love about selling it allows me to be me. A little bit nutty, definately eccentric, and I look at the funny side of any situation, so I suppose I relax.

GollygoshOgee I certainly did. Met up with my friends, and yes I still think they would call me that. Didnt embarrace anyone.
Really good catching up with Jake,Leah Janna, Chris and "the Budget Bitch & the Budget Bloke"Dave, Ilse, Darren, Rhys, Lance, and the one and only Farid.
I have known these and others that where there for a number of years but it is alway great to catch up and haveachat.
Unfortunately Jolly Solo is on but once a year, but you are guaranteed to have a fun night

I think in today's day and age networking is an important part of business for sure but I must admit its sometimes hard to find "real" and "genuine" people. I'm a big believer in communicating with your audience ( or customers) in an honest and real way to build trust by showing people who you are. Its only recently that I have really started to understand the value of good communication and how I should focus much more on interaction with others to both learn and grow my business and theirs.

As a local networking group "meet up" seems to be a great place to not only engage in conversation but also promotes face to face meetings with like minded people in their local area. I sometimes feel the internet can be something that people hide behind so I'm all for face to face encounters with real people ...........you know just like the old days
