    Quality (printed) TShirts

I am not happy with the quality offered by Vistaprint in re their printed TShirts (they start to fade after two washes!!). I also feel that a Vistaprint shirt reflects wrongly on my business (I'm too cheap to invest in good quality TShirt).

Thus I am "on the hunt" for an inexpensive TShirt printer. I am doing an order of less than 10 TShirts thus they must be able to cater to micro/small businesses.

I would also prefer someone who will allow me one free sample (not necessarily my shirt/design - however can readily "show" me the quality of their work)... thus if you are Gold Coast based so I can "visit you" (or vice versa - that would be a huge plus) it would be great.

I am not looking to buy today or tomorrow. I'm doing my research now for a purchase in a couple of months time (making room in my budget).

LOL! I've never heard VistaPrint associated with quality :P

I've only ever had a shirt embroided, and they're certainly not anyone I would recommend or use again. But we are on the lookout at the moment, so interested in recommendations.

Just a heads up to everyone: I don't want a "polo shirt" ... I just want a TShirt (one long sleeve, one short sleeve) that won't fall apart in the wash after two washes with printing on it that won't fade after the same amount of washes too.

Try http://www.putitonatshirt.com/. Got my XXXTC t-shirts done by this guy. The mens tshirts seem to be better quality than the girls, but I still give them the thumbs up.

Mark Barnes is the guy who is own it. Small operation, nice bloke reasonable price (well they were when i last purchaesed) decent quality.

I got mine embroidered but got ripped at the checkout for the cost of adding the desing into the computer. Then got charged 12.50 per shirt. They have since up'ed their price to $23.00 a shirt. Avoiding them like the plague.

Have been checking out www.promoshop.com.au and they seem to have heaps of good stuff.

Back to Vanessa's question. I don't know a printer but do know an embroiderer in Beenleigh if you want it. Not the same one mentioned above obviously...LOL.
My nephew does tshirt designs for a company who gets them printed. I can find out where and get back to you for that one.

    20 mins later,,,,

He gets his designs printed through redbubble.com

There was a promotional company in west gosford, dont know if they are still in business. My daughter used to work for them.

Have had all but one lot of t/shirts printed and supplied by them and the last order was about 6 years ago

T/shirts now 10 years old maroon in colour faded after 5 years of wear and regular washing.

Last lot were Black has taken about 4 years for them to fade with regular wear and washing.

They used to do small order quantities and i paid $ 26.00 per shirt with printing on pocket them.

The first lot of shirts I had printed were red and I paid $ 6.00 per shirt at the markets, then found a local screen printer who designed and printed the t/shirts for a very reasonable fee.
The beauty of this was you could buy a small number of t/shirts from the markets and have them printed any time you wanted.

Vanessa....for our new company we are getting shirts printed through http://www.lifestyleaustralia.com.au/. Thet are based at Yatala. Not sure how small a run they do, but for example we are ordering 100 for $9.90 a shirt (incl artwork). Couldn't hurt to ask.

    Cheers

There are lots of companies that can provide cost effective printing services, you just need to surf little bit. Plz read testimonials before opting services from any company.

If you are after quality services I'm more than happy to help you out.

If you're after cheap printed shits there is a guy who does band tshirt printing. We did his website, and have used him in the past for shirts (Which I still have!)

Otherwise my site is here: NetBlots
