    Please review my Website

    Hi Everyone!

I am hoping you can help me by reviewing my website! We launched www.mumsdelivery.com.au in early 2009. We currently get around 100,000 hits per month and want to increase the traffic to our site. Is there anything you could suggest from a copy/layout point of view or an idea to improve our current offering? And especially to be getting more mums to return and consistently use the site?

I appreciate everything you could offer - we are in the midst of some exciting changes and I would like to ensure that we meet all the market demands and modifty the website to be the best it can be.

    Thank you so much!

    Lorraine

I'm not a designer at all so I'm not sure. But I think it is great. Clean and simple

    Hey Lorraine,

Bring your social media icons in from the right and make them larger. Perhaps add a call to action like 'Keep in touch'.

Add a newsletter subscription box to the home page, give them a reason to enter their email address - e.g. "register for monthly competitions, etc." Mums LOVE competitions!

Better display your USP, experiment with different banners and a stronger headline. Try using something more meaningful than "welcome to mumsdelivery", how about "Find what you need, delivered!"

Stronger branding, that logo is a bit weak - rather lost on the blue background.

That should do you for now :P

On the outset, I don't believe the site is too bad.

I agree with all Chris' comments, but would ad:

    - The page feels a little lopsided - With the widgets on the right hand nav and home banner blank on the left... The page doesn't feel like it is balanced.

Hello! I wont repeat what others have said here:
    1. Too much empty space to the left of the main picture under the navigation. Really looks like there should be something there
    2. My tired eyes found the text explaining what the site is a bit hard to read.

Cheers and good luck with it.

    Hi Everyone!

Thank you so much for the feedback. I have now made some of the suggested changes to the website! What do you think?

    Cheers,

    Lorraine

Where'd my post go? - Okay, I'll re-type! I reckon the design is okay, but too cluttered, use Google's in-content analytics to find out what links are popular and what are not, and remove those that are not. The end result will be much cleaner and easier to use. Cheers! - Phil
