    Unhappy Payroll Software

I have my own time tracker and management software, however, it does not include a payroll feature. I am looking for a payroll software that enables me to view/edit/print payslips for my employees, track or count the money I have paid (bi weekly and the total of the month), and calculate how much I am going to pay my workers.

Can anyone suggest something relevant? Pls. I need it urgently.

    Hi Paul,

I have recently started using a program called "PayCycle" - it integrates seamlessly with the accounting software I use called "Xero".

It does everything you've listed and is incredibly easy to use - I was also very impressed with the price too.

I had Darren @ Dardee set mine up for me, and train me up on the software - It takes about 15 minutes to set up an employee, and each week takes about 3 minutes to do a payrun (I've got mine to automatically email payslips).

You can find pay cycle at http://www.paycycle.com.au/

    Hi Paul,

I would suggest that to do a bit homework on comparing the prices re payroll software. You will end up to pay at least $500 per year on membership fee or fee on upgrade of the software.

I suppose it will cost more if you use payroll software in-house than outsourcing your Payroll activity to the accounting/bookkeeping service who provides the service. You could save money and time by doing this.

    Good luck.

I know little about payroll, I just need a monthly payslip to give to my employees every two weeks, and sending to their email addresses may take me too much time. I am looking for an online payroll that my employees can take a look at their payslips so that I dont have to email it to them every 14 days. I have an accountant that computes the salary, and it will help us if the payslips can be distributed automatically, not manual emailing.

    Hi Paul,

I'm pretty sure Paycycle automatically emails, if not, it's only as simple as one click.

If your accountant is already calculating the Payroll surely they can go one step further and email payslips. As Jake mentioned, solutions like Paycycle will make your Payroll process much simpler and quicker and emailing payslips is simply the click of a few buttons.

How many staff do you have? Who currently keeps the records and how much does it cost? (PM or email me if you would prefer to discuss it offline).
