    Could you review my website?

    Hi everyone,

I'm new on the forum and am very exciting to discover there's a place for small business owners to discuss issues and help one another!

I was hoping you would be able to have a quick look at my website Cloud Public Relations and let me know what you think. The Case Studies page still needs to be updated, but the rest is pretty much done.

Any feedback would be extremely welcome! I'm particularly interested to find out:
    • What your initial impression is
    • Whether you think the website looks professional
    • Whether you like the video on the front page
    • Whether you think there is enough information on the website

Thanks for any help you can give me!

    Lovely website

I really liked it. I can see you have used Wordpress (which is good because it keeps things easy on you and quick to edit) and the Youtube feed is a good idea.

You have been very sensible and kept it clean and uncluttered and resisted the temptation to put EVERYTHING you can think of on the website. The colour schemed and simple and clean navigation buttons are good too. The social media links above the video feed are a good idea (everyone seems to put them at the bottom of the page).

I only have two little niggles. There is no rollover on the navigation buttons - so you don't know where you are except by looking at the address bar. Maybe just use CSS to change the text colour on the button as a navigational aid?

To someone who isn't used to it, there is no way to turn off the video or mute the (loud) music.

Keep the blog active for SEO and to keep the site interesting but try and resist the impulse to "fill it up."

Apart from that the only other thing I could suggest is a privacy statement. You can do it yourself or purchase a privacy service from TRUSTe. Not only because it's a good idea but it engenders confidence and you get a seal to put on your website which makes you look big and professional

Something else along the same lines would be a security seal like SiteLock.

    Hi Sonja,

I really liked your site. It is clean and sleek which to me means professional (but not the only thing). I like the video but don't like how is starts automatically. Maybe have a stop/start button so people can choose to view it? I think a phone number would be good as some want an instant response.

Nice site! I agree though the video shouldn't start automatically

    Hi Sonja,

Truth be told, I love your website - I can't really fault it! The layout is simple, the design is sleek and the information commonly needed is easy locatable.

The only thing I would probably change would be the blog - it seems a little difficult to scroll through to find the articles, perhaps if they were listed at the top and linked to each article.

    Hey Sonja,

Great looking site over all. Your video was effective in capturing my attention.

I think the site looks very professional.

Rollover effects on the tabs would be nice. It's also nice when the selected tab is bolded, or stands out in some way. That may add a small degree of professionalism to the site. I couldn't think of anything else, good work!
