Sometimes being a small business owner can be tough - whether the problems be cash flow, staffing, long hours, alienation from those around us!

It can sometimes get pretty tough!

Today is R U OK? day - a great opportunity to check in with fellow business owners to make sure everything is alright.

I'm here, as I'm sure many others are if you need someone to vent to or someone to cheer you up!

My 455 is sore from this bloody computer chair and my toes are numb from extended hours. Apart from that, we're moving house & office over next 2 weeks - JOY! To top it off, I gave up smoking cigarettes a week and a bit ago.

But wait - there's more...

3 clients are defaulting on major invoices, my wife's car has been towed to the wreckers, and I had to fire my designer due to unreliability.

Remind me again of why being in business for yourself is so great?

On the up-side, we scored a fabulous new house with an extra fabulous office for me to do some work from home.

Interestingly enough this was brough up at an OMNi meeting a few weeks ago, and at the time didnt think much about it. Then came the ads and I have actually started to ask people that I know RU OK, so far so good, but Im sure sooner or later I will get to hear some pretty wild stuff. We live across the road from the Macquarie Hospital, the Hospital you go to when you have a breakdown mentally.
