I put a new poll on the homepage today (if you haven't voted yet, make sure you do!) about working standard hours (Mon-Fri, 9-5) or not.

It got me thinking, what is standard for members of the forum?

I used to be notoriously bad, had emails synced everywhere (phone and home), so no matter what time one came in I would always answer and respond (even on weekends). I've not put in a policy of only responding during standard working hours, which has then progressed to not even checking emails in the evenings of weekends! Has worked great and no one seems to mind (or even expect that I reply at those times anyway!!).

As far as working hours go, I'm not quite in the 9-5 bracket but at the same time I don't particularly want to be all that much - I don't mind doing longer hours because I love what I do - weekends tend to be off limits though and that's my "down time" (as is going home an hour or two early on Fridays!!)
